**Job Summary**

AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Water Resources Leader – Western Ontario for immediate employment in our London office. The appropriately qualified applicant will lead all aspects of the Water Resources business including pre-positioning for and winning work, project management and delivery, and technical leadership. AECOM is proud to provide our employees with exciting, challenging projects. The incumbent can look forward to supporting AECOM’s water business with a variety of clients including municipal, transportation and agency clients throughout Ontario.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

+ Managing and leading a high performing group of water resource practitioners

+ Managing projects and tasks of varying complexity

+ Working closely with our clients to establish a pipeline of opportunities

+ Collaborating with staff to develop and execute win strategies to secure work and grow the practice

+ Lead proposal efforts both in our local market and beyond

+ Be responsible for project delivery for both internal and external clients

+ Mentoring and development of less experienced staff

+ Ensuring that all work is completed in accordance with AECOM’s quality and safety programs

**Minimum Requirements**

+ Bachelor's degree in related field

+ 10+ years of consulting engineering experience in Ontario including 5 years of experience managing water resources staff and projects

+ Professional Engineers of Ontario Licence

+ Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, as well as exceptional organizational skills

+ Exhibits in-depth knowledge of surface water modeling, closed conduit modeling, planning and design projects and related technologies

+ Ability to communicate the technical aspects of projects to a wide audience

+ Business development experience including client relations, proposal preparation, and professional leadership activities

+ Good working knowledge of ArcGIS and various stormwater and sanitary modeling programs e.g. HEC-RAS, SWMM, SWMHYMO, VISUAL OTTHYMO InfoWorks

+ Demonstrated ability to work as part of a local teams as well as the flexibility to work as part of an inter-office team

+ Must possess a valid driver's license

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Work experience in London and surrounding area

+ 2D hydraulic modelling e.g. HEC5, Mike21
