Position Description:
The Supply Chain Development (SCD) Implementation Manager is a key leadership role responsible for managing, executing and supporting tasks associated with implementing warehouse management system, go lives and projects for the downstream One Supply Chain platform- FDC (Flatbed Distribution Center).

Project tasks may include managing/executing/supporting all aspects of systems testing and readiness, train the trainer training, go live and post go live systems support. This individual will serve as a Project lead, POC for site, all around Subject Matter Expert (SME) and will own the success of project rollout. This position will provide guidance and leadership related to systems to the site leaders and associates, and any other resources assigned to project.The qualified candidate must have the ability to operate with minimal supervision and once given general assignments, prioritizes and executes tasks. Provides and communicates recommendations to upper management. Must be a self-starter, detail oriented, able to support and lead multiple projects, possess excellent communication skills, work well with a team, interact with multiple levels and functions within the Supply Chain organization


25% Ensure communication and feedback is provided to operations and Store Support Center teams on System Performance, Systems Enhancements and Issues Management

25% Develop project plans and manage the execution of system implementation activities

20% Provide feedback, direction and mentorship to junior resources on job performance and career development

20% Provide system support, operational/functional expertise to site users and documentation of lessons learned

10% Building strong relationships between the various stakeholders and customers involved in project.

  • Reports to Sr. Manager, Director Sr. Director or VP
  • Typically requires interpersonal skills for dealing with sensitive or controversial situations.
  • Typically faces situations that are unstructured and require original approaches.
  • Typically considers new courses of action within broad policies and medium-term goals when solving problems.
  • Typically, once given general assignments, determines priorities and defines what should be done and how to do it.

    Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

    Typically requires overnight travel up to 75% of the time.

    Under regular pressure to meet deadlines, quotas and/or must frequently deal with difficult issues related to people or situations.
