Position Description:
POSITION PURPOSE
The Strategic Account Manager is responsible for working with local field sales representatives and sales support to drive revenue in key strategic accounts – specifically targeting FMS and selling value at the C suite level.

a) Work with local field sales representatives targeting key strategic customers to drive sales growth in strategic accounts and grow sales for the region/division.

b) Pursue, sign, rollout, and grow existing and new Strategic Accounts across the market, defining and implementing best practices.


MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • 20%- Develop relationships with upper management on identified strategic accounts. Drive solution selling at the top level of our key customers and their end clients. Work closely with RSM and VP to determine priority of key projects.
  • 20%- Frame up all aspects of growth initiatives in an effort to drive incremental revenue. Forecast future sales and inventory levels in support of Primary Objectives.
  • 20%- Determine pricing strategy, distribution model, marketing approach, and merchandising mix aligned to the target customer base.
  • 20%- Develop standards for project initiation, design, development, support and execution. Stay at the forefront of best web practices and share knowledge across IBI, be an e-commerce advocate for the company. Engage internal and external resources to develop necessary marketing strategies focused on meeting KPI targets & financials.
  • 10%- Evaluate market trends and competitive information. Identify trends that effect current and future growth of web traffic, sales and profitability. Evaluate success, recommend changes.
  • 10%- Develop integrated demand generation campaigns to drive sales and increase product awareness.
  • Develop and maintain competitive analysis.

    Create and track opportunities through CRM tool.

    NATURE AND SCOPE
    This position reports to the Regional Sales Manager.
    This position has no direct reports.

    ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
    Environment:
    Typically located in a comfortable indoor area. There may be regular exposure to mild physical discomfort from factors such as dust, fumes or odors, temperature extremes, loud noise, strong drafts, or bright lights.

    Travel:
    Typically requires overnight travel 20% to 50% of the time.
