As a Creative Sr. Manager, you are a visionary with broad multichannel experience, encompassing traditional and digital media. Your passion, raw creativity and natural eye for design drive innovative ideas, inspiring and connecting with customers across an array of audiences.

The Sr. Manager leads a focused team, guiding creative development from concept through production, reviewing work, problem-solving, providing clear and actionable feedback, leveraging channel best practices and deep customer insights. They ensure the highest levels of quality, partnering with account services to ensure business and strategic objectives are met, and that each deliverable aligns to brand standards.

The Sr. Manager ensures the team operates in concert with one another, optimizing creative production, leveraging new technologies, and ensuring consistent, cohesive multichannel brand campaigns are delivered on time and on budget.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:
  • 30% Build Relationships - Communicate & Build Relationships- Establish and maintain relationships with Marketing, Merchandising, User Experience, Martech, partner agencies and internal stakeholders. Be a thought leader and subject matter expert, recognizing trends/opportunities and formulating hypotheses and creative recommendations relevant to the business and target audiences.
  • 30% Creative Excellence - Drive Creative Excellence - Provide creative direction to a focused creative team, vendors, and external agencies. Develop and present industry-leading creative concepts while balancing strategic business objectives. Generate unique solutions that embrace new ideas. Collaborate with cross-functional partners to align creative across channels in alignment with the creative brief. Manage and maintain channel-specific brand guidelines and best practices while adhering to The Home Depot overarching brand standards. Champion the customer by thoroughly understanding their needs. Leveraging data and user research to create engaging optimized experiences.
  • 20% Mentoring - Build & Mentor- Recruit, hire and mentor a cross-disciplinary creative team of designers, writers and cross-functional partners (Ex: Developers, UX Designers) in defining a world-class customer experience that bridges online and offline channels (store, online, print, email).
  • 5% Operational Efficiency - Drive Operational Efficiency - Organize and optimize creative processes to meet deadlines, manage budgets and streamline workflows, researching new technologies to increase efficiency at scale. Create reports that reflect the team's performance and project schedules.
  • 15% Testing Environment - Test & Learn - Champion a culture of continuous testing and learning, leveraging customer insights, key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics to iterate and optimize creative executions. Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues that might impair the team's ability to meet goals and objectives.Nature and Scope:

    Environmental Job Requirements:
    1. Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
    Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
