Position Description:

Position Purpose:

The Senior Analyst, Talent Insights is responsible for supporting global talent sourcing and executive talent acquisition by conducting deep market research, competitive intelligence and external talent mapping for identifying and engaging top external talent of strategic importance to The Home Depot. As a Senior Analyst, Talent Insights, you will build and maintain a database of external talent intelligence and target talent profiles and develop actionable insights which lead to external search strategy development. Your work will influence the most critical and complex leadership hiring initiatives in support of global executive talent acquisition initiatives.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:

  • 25% - Conduct ongoing market and competitive research and analysis to remain keenly aware of trends in the global business climate, economy and workplace, while understanding their impact on leadership and diversity hiring. Use this knowledge to recommend and execute innovative executive recruitment strategies in support of The Home Depot’s global sourcing and executive talent initiatives
  • 25% - Create and own executive talent candidate generation strategies and build diverse, world-class external talent pools by leveraging tools and methods to identify leadership talent of strategic interest to The Home Depot
  • 20% - Manage end to end research projects and talent market scan requests, including search plan development and research and market scan summaries
  • 15% - Develop and own executive talent dashboards and reporting solutions and capabilities leveraging in house candidate relationship management (CRM) tool, applicant tracing system (ATS) and other related data and analysis tools such as Excel, Tableau, etc. for tracking candidate pools, pipelines and programs’ effectiveness to internal stakeholders
  • 10% - Participate in client (Hiring Manager) meetings for active and confidential search engagements and research projects
  • 5% - Ensure consistency, efficiency and compliance with federal, state and local laws, and company policies. Ensure all talent acquisition activities are compliant with the established sourcing, recruiting, and selection procedures including maintaining appropriate data integrity

    Nature and Scope:

    • This position typically reports to Manager, Executive Recruiting


      • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.


        • Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time
