Position Description:
POSITION PURPOSE -
The Sr. Analyst, Pricing will support the efforts to provide subject matter expertise, project management, and analytical support to the development and execution of Pricing Strategies. The Sr. Analyst will perform analysis of data, build presentations, and will solve business questions using their insights, analytics, and judgement. The Sr. Analyst will work with cross functional partners, including marketing, ops, strategy, and others to ensure end to end thinking on strategy and execution. The Sr. Analyst will also support merchants directly by helping them understand their business, test pricing strategies, and helping them achieve their objectives.
MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES -
- 50%Design, implement and measure pricing actions to understand the trade-off between units, sales and gross margin.
- 20%Conduct research to become subject matter expert on a specific segment of pricing and statistical analysis
- 10%Work across the organization and leverage cross functional teams to provide expert analytical support (i.e. domestic logistics or global supply chain costs
- 20%Develop and deliver influential presentations that summarize complex analyses and drive effective business decisions
