Staples Technical Operations & Cloud Engineering Team provides resilient and efficient infrastructure for the business applications as well as associated critical support of these platforms. We continuously maximize our value through optimizing our efficiencies, expanding abilities, improving agility, and skillsets of the team to best support evolving business requirements. Technology Operations and Cloud Engineering (TOCE) is responsible for the Architecture, Engineering, and Operations of Staples core IT infrastructure, network, telephony, and collaboration platforms. Additionally, the team supports Staples eCommerce platforms and nearly 200 locations including corporate, sales offices, and supply chain facilities across North America as well as 1102 US Retail stores from a network and telephony perspective.



**What youll be doing:**



As part of the Enterprise Tools Engineering team at Staples, youll bring your ServiceNow subject matter expertise to bear by innovating, integrating, and automating to improve efficiency and productivity with our ServiceNow platform. You will also partner closely with multiple cross-functional teams including ITSM, HR, Security, Vendor Management, and CMDB to deliver smarter workflows for over 50,000 Staples associates.



Youll seek continuous improvement by applying best practices and making recommendations to leadership on opportunities to leverage ServiceNow to solve complex business problems and improve user experience, performance, and quality of service. You will help administer our ServiceNow platform and help develop our roadmap while meeting specific business needs.

**Qualifications :**



**Whats needed- Basic Qualifications**



+ Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a directly related field

+ At least 5 years experience with:

+ Acting as a Service Now Administrator / Developer

+ Leveraging ServiceNow Admin/Implementation Specialist, Foundation, Javascript and HTML knowledge

+ Developing and maintaining Change, Incident and Problem Management applications, including Business rules, Script Includes, UI Script, Client Script, UI Policy, workflows, Assignment rules, SLA`s, views, email notifications and templates

+ Supporting ServiceNow Service Catalog and Requested Items related artifacts

+ Implementing general settings such as incident, problem, change, and SLA

+ CMDB (Configuration Management Database)

+ REST/SOAP API integration

+ Service Catalog configuration, for example, creating service requests for multiple stakeholders (App teams, HR, Incident Management team, etc.)

+ Homepage and Dashboards, for example, creating dashboards for different teams incident priorities, performance analytics, etc.

+ Creating and updating: Order Guides, Catalog Items, Record Producers, Requested Items, Tasks, Email templates, Inbound actions, Business rules, Script Includes, UI Script, Client Script, UI Policy, Data Imports and Transformation Maps.



**Whats needed- Preferred Qualifications:**



+ Experience with Agile/Scrum/SAFe methodology

+ ServiceNow Portal configuration

+ Integration Hub Flow Designer

+ Developing ServiceNow custom applications using: Dictionary, Record Producers, Business Rules, Client Script, UI Script, UI Policy, ACLs, Reports, and Dashboards

+ PowerShell scripting
