Description

A Software Engineer II is an experienced software engineer. Activities include: designing, developing, installing, and maintaining software solutions. All software engineers are expected to write well designed, testable, and efficient code and to demonstrate work ethic that motivates and encourages others on their team. Software engineers are
encouraged to bring fresh ideas, new perspectives, and an eagerness to learn new technologies.

• 55%- Writing new code and test cases
• 15%- Helping with solution design and architecture
• 15%- Debugging existing code
• 10%- Learning new skills

  NATURE AND SCOPE
  This position reports to the Manager, Information Systems. This position has no direct reports.
  
  For Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada and New York City residents: The pay range for this position is between $110k and $220k.  Starting salary may vary based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position being offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. The Home Depot offers additional competitive financial and non-financial benefits, which may include a performance-based bonus program or a profit sharing program depending on position. 
  
  ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
  
  Environment:
  Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
  
  Travel:
  Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
