Position Purpose:
Global Custom Commerce (a Home Depot Company) is looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test who will take ownership of building automation frameworks and testing e-commerce applications. SDET 's focus will be on making an impact in quality testing practices through innovation and solving problems.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:
- 20% Analysis - Analyzes defects, understand root cause, work with the development team to resolve issues
- 20% Quality Assurance - Leverages understanding of core QA concepts, Participate in daily stand-up, bi-weekly iteration planning, product demos and retrospectives
- 20% Software Developer Support - Work with developers and product owner to understand user stories and identify test scenarios, develop test cases and making sure that there is complete test coverage, handling deployments to production as well; Work with developers and product owner to understand user stories and identify test scenarios, develop test cases and making sure that there is complete test coverage, handling deployments to production as well
- 40% Testing - Executes functional tests during sprint and work with other teams for integration testing; Leverages automated framework(s) for enterprise level functional and regression testing
