Position Description:
Position Purpose:
The Senior Strategy Analyst - Online is part of the Online and Marketing Strategy team and owns and leads discrete strategic projects. In addition, the Senior Financial Analyst is a “thought partner” helping to set the agenda of the President of Online and Chief Marketing Officer, and his leadership team.
Collectively, the team is responsible for developing overall strategy, helping to prioritize initiatives, working on business development opportunities, and monitoring performance relative to competitors.
Responsibilities may also include:
Research and market scans for trends likely to impact online business
Collaboration with cross-functional partners on larger-scale strategic projects
Financial and performance data collection and analysis
Participation in the annual strategic planning process
Development of frameworks and OKRs
Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:
60% Strategic Projects: analyzes business problems, structures the issue and prioritizes analyses, performs analyses, synthesizes data to develop a solution, creates documents communicating solution using structured communications principles, presents solution to team and stakeholders, works with stakeholders to implement the solution
20% Planning Process: lead one or more workstreams in the strategic and operational planning cycle
20% Competitive and Market Intelligence: develop expertise and become the “go-to” expert on key competitors and market trends; own regular reporting on one or more data sources

Environmental Job Requirements:
Environment: Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Travel: Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
