The Home Depot QuoteCenter product team is focused on delivering a great software product that empowers our associates to provide a wealth of products at great prices to our customers.

 

The Project Manager is responsible for end-to-end ownership of all necessary planning related to identified project(s), including creating, monitoring, tracking, and adjusting project plans based on critical milestones. 

 

Key responsibilities will include:  

·     Schedule and facilitate all milestone meetings with stakeholders 

·     Collect and manage inputs from stakeholders to track statuses, dependencies, and impacts to overall project completion or deliverables  

·     Aids in selection of success metrics for project workstreams, then measure and report on KPIs, including ROI of team efforts when possible 

·     Creates, documents, and posts project artifacts to centralized repositories, including but not limited to Charters, Business Acceptance Documents, etc. 

·     Communicate all relevant information at the appropriate level of granularity to all stakeholders, including overall project statuses, risks and resolutions, and key lessons learned 

·     Drives a constant iterative approach to improve processes by applying learnings to subsequent projects 

·     Understand and translate overall strategic vision and roadmap in the context of planning to drive execution and ultimate delivery of that vision for the business 

 

MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES - Revert to original 
70%- Delivery & Execution: Executes project scoping and manages scope for low to medium complexity projects  
20%- Monitoring: Identifies, defines, and makes recommendations to mitigate risks  
10%- Administration & Operations: Updates The Home Depot systems on a standard cadence (e.g. financials) NATURE AND SCOPE 
This position reports to the Manager, Pro Experience  
This position has no direct reports. 

 

ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS 
Environment:  
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable. 
Travel:  
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
