**Project Manager, Digital Marketing (Co-op)**



As the Project Manager, Media Buying (Co-op), you will support the functions that result in the planning, execution and reporting of digital media programs funded by Supplier partners. The Staples Digital Media Co-op team activates media strategies on the behalf of strategic Supplier partners that are fueled by the power of Staples (Customer data, Analytics, Co-branded). The team collaborates with internal partners across the Merchandising and Marketing organizations and is also responsible for developing relationship directly with the external Suppliers acting as a trusted digital media consultant. Your primary business partners will include internal Digital Buying/Planning teammates, Category Merchants & Marketers, CRM/Analytics partners, as well as external Agencies, Media Vendors and directly with the Supplier representatives. You are responsible for managing the day-to-day process associated with key team documents that facilitate the program planning & launch process. Core components include master program tracker, creative requirements, promotion calendars and reporting queue trackers. These processes are essential in ensuring we execute strong programs that deliver business impact for our partners in the short-term but develop long lasting relationship and program renewal/extensions. The Co-op program activates media across multiple channels including Paid Search, Display CRM, Affiliate and Paid Social. Candidates who would be successful in this role have strong process and organizational skills, work well in a face-paced team setting, and familiar with multiple digital media channels.



**Core Responsibilities:**



+ Collaborate with Co-op program owner (Manager) to deliver critical project management functions that support the education of Merchants & Suppliers about media programs/capabilities available, the design of custom campaign proposals, activation of approved proposals and communicating the results of the program.

+ U pdate and maintain the master budget document that organizes and denotes all program details including participants, budgets, flight dates, channels and reporting requirements.

+ Collaborate with Merchant, Marketing & Supplier partners to align on key campaign inputs including goals/KPIS, SKU-lists, promotional calendars and creative requirements. These key business inputs will be critical in planning and execution of a successful campaign.

+ Partner with media providers & agencies to manage promotion feeds and deliver creative assets to support all active programs. In addition to delivery youll be responsible for reviewing and approving creative treatments prior to launch.

+ Managing reporting calendar to align internal Analytics and external Agency/Media partners on key deadlines for delivering data and insights. Assist managers with preparing data inputs and presentation to communicate results.

+ Collaborate with broader Media Planning/Buying teams to understand agency/partners and integrate new capabilities and testing opportunities into the Co-op product. Develop process and approach to bring new capabilities to life.



**Qualifications** **Essential Skills & Qualifications:**



+ 2-3 years of marketing/advertising experience serving clients and delivering digital media strategies.

+ Knowledge and experience supporting digital media strategies including the planning, execution and measurement. Ideal candidates can communicate the business value of digital media and how it contributes to the ability to drive Supplier sales.

+ Relationship driven - builds credible and trusting relationships in a dynamic environment with a broad range of colleagues, executive stakeholders & business partners (internal + external).

+ Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in parallel with unique deliverables and timelines.

+ Experience working with tools to automate the process of buying media across all digital channels including Bid Management Tools, Competitive Intelligence Tools and Web Site Analytics packages.

+ Thrives in growth environments and managing large scale projects, budgets and operations.

+ Hands-on, "roll up your sleeves" mindset, with the ability to be a driver and change agent in an organization.
