The purpose of the Project Leader Finance position is to manage the financial strategy and P&L of HDIS (Home Services) As a member of the strategic finance team for the function, the Project Leader, Finance will play a key role in driving functional metrics, lead key finance projects, and work closely with the finance leadership, in order to achieve business goals and create shareholder value.

 Candidates should have proven ability in, but not limited to:

• Technical skills (intermediate to advanced skills in Excel, Tableau, power point, SQL)
  Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:
  
  • 45% Performs ad hoc / outlier financial analysis & reporting in support of leadership performance requests and driving profitability growth
  • 20% Planning/Forecasting – build and oversee sales planning process including appropriate communication to all stakeholders
  • 20% Recommends changes in financial analysis methods or procedures
  • 15% Compiles or prepares reports, graphs and charts of data developed
    Nature and Scope:
    Reports to Sr Finance Manager.
    This role has no direct reports.
    
    Environmental Job Requirements:
    Environment:
    1. Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
    Travel:
    Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
