The Program Manager, Marketing Operations will be responsible for creating, executing and tracking lead nurturing and lead management marketing programs. This position will manage all aspects of structure, process and communication related to implementation of campaigns within Marketo. This is a key role that will work cross-functionally to execute our B2B customer acquisition, expansion & retention strategies.



**What youll be doing:**



**_Executional Excellence_**



+ Main point of contact for stakeholders of program (i.e. - Marketers, Digital Media team, Website team, etc.)

+ Become subject matter expert of Staples Marketo platform capabilities & operations

+ Work closely with our marketing, sales and merchandising partners to develop and execute Email campaigns using Marketo as the automation platform

+ Manage campaign execution, schedule and deliverables including content, data, and channel with internal and external marketing partners

+ Leverage events (physical and virtual, where applicable) as a demand generation tactic; assist with pre- and post- event promotion, lead collection and analysis

+ Track effectiveness and optimize campaigns via a closed loop process, from planning and set-up through execution and post-campaign ROI assessment

+ Analyze and report campaign performance

+ Act as a partner to our Marketing team to ensure program strategy includes execution best practices



**_Exceptional Coordination_**



+ Demonstrate detailed thinking and creative problem solving with all stakeholders while executing Email campaigns

+ Assist marketers & digital media team with any coordination efforts for integrated digital campaigns across display, social, email and web channels

+ Identify and implement improvements to reduce process complexity, improve execution efficiency and accuracy, and positively impact customer experience

+ Continuously improve email processes, underlying platforms and tools to achieve "best-in-class" ecosystem by recommending and obtaining necessary alignment and approvals

+ Partner with the circulation team to improve target audience segments based on communication objectives



**_QA for Customer Experience_**



+ Work under the direction of Manager Marketing/Email Operations to ensure end-to-end smoothest possible customer experience across all programs

+ Execute A/B testing on an ongoing basis, in accordance with the best practice and continuous improvement guidelines

+ Manage the creation, optimization and scheduling/deployment of innovative nurture campaigns in our marketing automation platform (Marketo)



**Qualifications :**



**Whats needed - Basic Qualifications:**



+ 4-5 years of marketing experience

+ 2-3 years managing marketing-based email /nurturing campaigns, preferably in Marketo



**Whats needed - Preferred Qualifications:**



+ Marketo experience preferred

+ 3+ years of B2B customer centric marketing experience

+ Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills and ability to clearly communicate ideas, decisions and reasoning to a broad audience

+ Demonstrated ability to interface with all levels of management, and ability to work confidently across various functional groups within a complex matrixed organization

+ Proven ability to learn new technology applications quickly

+ Excellent project management skills and keen attention to detail

+ Strong focus on analysis and driving insights from data

+ Ability to successfully align cross-functional teams

+ Must be a self-starter and creative problem solver, with ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team

+ Bachelors degree preferred in marketing, business or related field
