Product Transition Analyst

Staples is focused on our customer and our community. As a **Product Transition Analyst** for Staples, you will manage all retail returns from creating, training, approval, and extensions. You will support the product transition process, from reporting, training and POGWeb maintenance. You will establish and maintain cross-functional partnerships with Merchandising, Inventory, Store Ops, Communications, Distribution Center, Pricing, and US Store and Field teams, acting as the key liaison for supporting product transition process and returns.

As the Product Transition Analyst you will collaboration with DC and merchant teams to create, train and properly download returns for all stores and DC locations. You will manage all reporting to ensure all product transitions stay on track to ensure proper execution for all stores as well as reporting on labor by store by transition for the Ops team to allocate.

**Key Deliverables:**

+ Collaboration with merchant and inventory team to ensure all SKUs being removed from inline space has proper disposition

+ Collaboration with pricing to ensure all Skus being removed from inline space has proper markdown

+ Collaboration with DCs to approve and extend all return requests (including promo)

+ Manage process to ensure all SKUs are removed from all versions during product transition

+ Facilitate meetings with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment

+ Collaboration with merchant and product specialist to create ACE communications

+ Manage process for SKU-Store status within Galaxy

+ Maintain hierarchy changes for all supporting teams

+ Manage process between, space planner and labor team to allocate store-transition for all inline changes

+ Facilitate monthly transition for product transition and returns

+ Support store tickets for return extensions or issues

+ Ongoing maintenance of product transition systems (POGWeb, The Hub, ACE, Galaxy)

+ Maintain positive cross functional relationships by setting clear expectations and holding our partners accountable

+ Project management, analysis, documentation, and presentations

+ Facilitate full product transition process for our FEQ program

**Essential skills and experience:**

+ Minimum 4-year college degree plus 4 years of experience; or 7+ equivalent retail store experience

+ Strong collaboration and excellent written and verbal communication skills

+ Detail-oriented and highly organized

+ Ability to work independently, accurately, and efficiently

+ Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access, and Outlook)
