Position Description:
Position Purpose:

The Interconnected Experience (IX) strategy team is looking for a Product Marketing Senior Analyst to support internal product marketing and communications programs for The Home Depot’s (THD) online platforms, product, and experience teams. You’ll be part of a diverse, experienced team that is focused on driving engagement, efficiencies, and growth for one of the largest eCommerce sites in the United States. 

Working in lockstep with the Interconnected Experience Product Marketing Manager and in partnership with the Product Management, Strategy, Creative, and other teams, you’ll help deploy promotional, communications, and knowledge sharing initiatives regarding The Home Depot’s online experience, capabilities, and features to internal audiences. As part of this strategic, cross-functional team, your work will involve collaboration with other teams and organizations to support the promotion and adoption of far-reaching, highly-visible IX initiatives: 

  • Partner with online teams to understand full spectrum of THD tech capabilities 

  • Package and socialize key online features through compelling customer journey narratives and business case studies for various internal partners 

  • Identify and communicate the value of key features to drive positive, measurable outcomes 

  • Support other mission-critical Product Marketing initiatives for a key business unit within The Home Depot 

Drawing upon experience working in a technology organization (preferably in the Retail eCommerce space), you will effectively translate complex, technical information and messaging into content and assets like one-pagers, infographics, presentations, and mockups, as well as visual representations of text, data, and trends. You’ll also engage with the strategy team to consolidate visuals and key assets from the IX org to maintain consistency in a way that adheres to strategy; create reusable graphics and templates; and maintain a library of approved assets for use by associates across the entire organization. 

Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:
  • 50%- Planning Process: Supports the strategic and operational planning cycle through building models, performing business analysis and benchmarking studies. Works closely with the business to help communicate the strategy and planning outcomes.
  • 40%- Strategic Projects: Analyzes business problems, structures the issue and performs analyses. Synthesizes data to help develop a solution, creates documents communicating solution using structured communications principles, helps present solution to team and stakeholders, and works with stakeholders to implement the solution.
  • 10%- Competitive and Market Intelligence: Perform research on key competitors and market trends; own regular reporting on one or more data sources

  • Reports to a Manager, or Director of Business Ops & Strategy.
  • This role had no direct reports.

Environmental Job Requirements:

Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
