The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

+ Working closely with other discipline engineers, architects, designers and project managers as a key team player within an integrated multi-disciplinary project delivery team

+ Managing projects on time and on budget with quality meeting client expectations

+ Ensuring compliance of technical and quality standards

+ Promoting mentor / mentee relationships through the engagement of various levels of staff

+ Contributing significantly to the successful design, production, coordination and management of projects

+ Communicating effectively with clients and internal team members in the design and specification development of plumbing building systems

+ Ensuring accuracy, completeness and quality of technical information and project documentation in accordance with established QA/QC programs

+ Ensuring that engineering deliverables (i.e. drawings, specifications, reports) comply with applicable regulations, standards, corporate procedures and sound engineering practices

**Minimum Requirements**

+ Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering field

+ 2+ years of experience in building systems engineering, with a primary focus on plumbing system design

+ Proficient in AutoCAD MEP and Revit

+ Working knowledge of applicable local and national building codes

+ Proficient in the use of computers for making engineering calculations, spreadsheets, and report writing

+ Must have well-rounded background in plumbing project design and delivery to meet various challenges

+ Strong written communication, presentation, and client interface skills

+ Willing to travel as required

+ Knowledge of sustainable plumbing design and basic LEED building practices

+ Must possess a valid driver’s license

+ Due to the nature of this work, U.S. citizenship is required

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Ability to obtain Government security clearance if requested

+ LEED Accredited Professional Credential

+ Certified in Plumbing Design (CPD)
