**Job Summary**

The Transportation Division of AECOM is actively seeking a P3 Construction Services Manager for immediate employment in its growing P3 Advisory Services Practice based out of the Richmond Hill, ON office with projects across the GTA. As part of our team, the appropriately qualified applicant will:

+ Be a member of AECOM’s P3 Advisory Services Group, providing technical and commercial leadership on assigned P3 projects

+ Manage and assign direct reports and other appropriate resources to AECOM’s portfolio of AFP projects during the Construction Phase

+ Assure soundness of project delivery approaches and provide quality assurance of work plans, reports, and other deliverables

+ Support the growth of AECOM’s P3 services across North America through strategic involvement in positioning, proposal/bid, and delivery activities

+ Collaborate with and build networks with technical and CA staff across the company

+ Be a role model by demonstrating and promoting AECOM’s values both internally and externally

Appropriately qualified applicant’s initial assignment will be to the Highway 427 Technical Advisory Services project to:

+ Be the Construction Oversight Manager for the Highway 427 AFP Project

+ Provide day-to-day leadership of AECOM’s Site-based resources on the Highway 427 AFP Project during the Construction Phase

+ Be accountable for all aspects of the successful delivery of the Site Team’s assigned tasks on the Highway 427 AFP Project

+ Be a visible leader and trusted advisor to Infrastructure Ontario and MTO

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

Project Management Responsibilities:

+ Provides direct project supervision/management

+ Completes pre-construction activities

+ Coordinates the services of AECOM’s field staff on assigned projects

+ Manages AECOM’s relationship with the client

+ Works with field staff to resolve technical / administrative issues within the context of client-specific requirements and protocols

+ Contributes to / supervises project budgets

+ Promotes safety in the workplace and the analysis of contractor claims, including leading negotiations

+ Maintains responsibility for safety on AECOM project sites

+ Takes ownership of project safety, including meeting appropriate metrics

+ Provides project close-out including preparation of final reporting deliverables

+ Project Managers are ultimately responsible for client satisfaction on assigned projects

Non-project responsibilities:

+ Contributes to client proposals

+ Liaises with other Departments / Business Units at AECOM in an advisory/consultative role

+ Participates in formal / informal constructability reviews of planning and design deliverables

+ Works with Project Managers to identify high-potential staff

+ Works with Project Managers, Contract Administrators, and client staff as necessary to maximize experiential opportunities for high-potential staff

**Minimum Requirements**

+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent

+ 10+ years of relevant experience

+ A good understanding of the P3/AFP models and experience in delivery of transportation AFP/P3 projects

+ Previous role in a management or technical role within an P3/AFP advisory team or P3/AFP bid side team

+ Multi-disciplinary design and construction experience, focused on highway and transit projects

+ Experience in a Construction Administration and/or Project Manager role on a large (>$100-million) civil projects

+ Familiar and generally proficient with project management process

+ Experience with interpreting business and contractual agreements

+ Excellent communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills in complex and changing environments

+ Ability to work independently, strong negotiating, problem-solving and analytical skills

+ Skilled in technical writing and delivering presentations to clients, operators, and regulators

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ 20+ years of relevant experience

+ Existing client/working relationships with MTO or Infrastructure Ontario or Metrolinx or TTC is preferred

+ Depth of experience providing contract administration during the Implementation (design and construction)of Ontario AFP projects is an asset
