The Online Merchandising Solutions Manager of Analytics will lead a team to work with business users within Online Merchandising to develop requirements for new analytical tools and reports that will provide best-in-class decision support for the merchandising community. This individual will prioritize producing actionable data that is readily available to merchandising users to assist them in making quicker, more profitable business decisions. The Online Merchandising Solutions Manager of Analytics will need to be well versed with reporting techniques and technologies with a keen focus on strategic and innovative thinking.  

Key day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Work with key business groups (DFMs, S/OMA, Assortment Strategy, Pricing & Promotions, Online Merch Solutions, and Online BI) to guide analytical reporting requirements
• Develop Online Merchandising Solutions Analytics roadmap, prioritizing development of reporting capabilities based on business need
• Engage in emerging tech evaluation, leveraging new technology when appropriate
• Drive user training and on-going supportMajor Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:
  
  • 30% - Manages the execution of complex special programs that typically involve business to business customers and internal functions.
  • 20% - Creates and implements processes to optimize the efficiency of product data collection. Enrolls internal functions and external partners in the development of work flow procedures and the ongoing monitoring and improvement of those procedures.
  • 20% - Coordinates and leads all internal functions in the execution of promotions and data collection on homedepot.com.
  • 10% - Collaborates with internal and external customers to develop processes/programs to drive timely execution of product data collection for homedepot.com; utilizes workload management to communicate with the merchants.
  • 10% - Responsible for external resource management. Manages outside vendors to ensure execution of programs and tactics on time and within budget. Manages projects and the allotment of money to meet budgetary and segment goals.
  • 10% - Troubleshoot and problem solve for ongoing operational needs as they arise.Nature and Scope:
    This position reports to the Sr. Manager, Online Merch Solutions.
    This position has 3-5 direct reports.

    Environment:
    Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
    
    Travel:
    Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
