Position Description:
Position Purpose:At Home Depot, our Marketing, Creative and Technology teams are blazing a trail of retail shopping innovation through machine learning, data modeling and a relentless focus on delivering audience-specific and highly relevant advertising content. 

We are looking for a Manager of Front End Development to lead a team of creative front-end developers responsible for the production of multi-tiered vendor and supplier Retail Media omnichannel campaigns. The Developers work in close partnership with Creative Leads, Designers and Copywriters to craft dynamic, templated, cross-platform technology solutions that enable the activation of highly sophisticated digital advertising campaigns. Our developers are the glue that unite great design with solid technology. As a leader, you understand that front-end development is about more than CSS and JavaScript skills, but customer experience, creativity and attention to detail.  

This role contributes to our continued growth by helping to inform and shape our front-end technologies across the Marketing organization. You’ll collaborate with teams across Brand Creative in the development of best practices and inspire our partners with new technologies that will help grow our team. 

You have significant experience working on dynamic marketing and digital campaigns, overseeing production on-time and on-budget. This role is a key cross-functional partner to Creative Direction, Content Strategy, Campaign Activation and PMO, with whom you collaborate to resource, traffic and deliver creative campaigns through a lens of continuous improvement. You’re well-versed in dynamic creative optimization (DCO) strategies and have experience working with DCO technology platforms. 

Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:
  • 20% Continuous Improvement - Drive creative excellence, best practices and consistent creative execution across all channels; improve creative quality by studying, evaluating and improving creative methods used
  • 20% Leadership & People Management - Mentor, develop and coach team members through project development and performance management; Attract, retain, and develop top creative talent to build a world-class in-house agency production studio
  • 50% Production Workflow Management - Manage and execute production schedules and full lifecycle of deliverables associated with digital campaigns; Oversee the creative process and ensure the work is on brief and on brand; Ensure the smooth running of the creative team's workflow keeping teams informed and up-to-date and that deadlines are met and issues escalated; Drive efficiency
  • 10% Relationship Building - Support and maintain relationships by communicating updates across teams and help prepare materials for updates; Identify and partner with cross-functional team on opportunities for improvements in creative process, timelines, approvals and other opportunities

Environmental Job Requirements:
1. Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
