Position Description:

The Design Center is a spectacular new interactive showroom experience. Our showroom, unlike any other with endless inspiration everywhere you look, thanks to our 30+ interactive kitchen, bath, and laundry rooms. Customers will explore hundreds of products from the most innovative brands in appliances, cabinetry, fixtures and more!Position Purpose:
The Customer Service Associate's role is to provide quality professional customer service that consistently meets and exceeds Company standards of excellence. The position is directly responsible for the scheduling and confirmation of appointments with customers via phone and HDDC Scheduling systems. The HDDC Customer Service Associate must be highly knowledgeable in the products and services that the HDDC offers to customers. The position is directly responsible for creating, maintaining and improving customer relationships while interacting with customers and other Home Depot associates on a daily basis. In addition, they may assist in the resolution of customer issues by providing a solution or directing the customer to an individual who is equipped to help them resolve the matter. The HDDC Customer Service Associate will also collaborate with other HDDC and THD associates to resolve inquiries around calendars/availability to meet the customer's needs. The HDDC Customer Service Associate will conduct surveys with customers to gauge service levels.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:
90% - Customer Service: Place outbound calls to customers from leads that were obtained from various sources
Qualifying customers via phone, based on ability for the HDDC to meet a customer's need
Educates customers during the selling process (e.g., answer questions, elaborates on features, benefits, costs)
Confirm scheduled appointments by validating appointment date/time, address, phone number and project qualification
Reschedule appointments & cancel when appropriate
Answer inbound calls from customers who have been referred through a store associate, internet lead or other source
Follows up with clients via telephone when appropriate
Resolves client complaints or involves the appropriate manager to ensure customer satisfaction

10% - Self-Development: Proactively seeks knowledge on all HDDC products and services
Routinely develops skills in related areas of expertise
Stays abreast of daily, weekly, monthly sales reports

This position reports to the Facilities Supervisor.
This position has 0 direct reports.

Environmental Job Requirements:
1. Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
