Furniture Purchasing Representative HiTouch

Handle order processing administration and management of orders for designated area. Coordinate and manage order discrepancy resolution with vendors in conjunction with field representatives. Maintain order status information, provide order status reports, and document all order transactions. Provide customer service support, researching and resolving general order status questions or issues. Run appropriate order management reports to help maintain order status and ensure timely billing of orders.

**What youll be doing:**

+ Receive orders through Order Queues, fax, or email

+ Review and proof orders for basic information to include ship to, bill to, contract/bid numbers, sales reps, signed quotes, T&Cs, Customer Information worksheet, soft schedule request dates and other pertinent info as appropriate, to ensure completeness and compliance for processing

+ Resolve any quote/order questions with field contacts

+ Maintain quote/order Pending Processing files/reports and ensure timely processing by following up with field contacts on questions and actions to enable processing

+ Create purchase orders to vendors/suppliers and manage the ordering process with vendors

+ Receive and process order acknowledgements; check acknowledgements for ship date/arrival date meeting expectations, quantities, pricing, and matching purchase order issued; enter acknowledgement info to CFS

+ Run acknowledgement exception reports and manage and administrate the resolution of order discrepancies including pricing, ship dates, and quantities; involve field representatives as appropriate; verify pricing discrepancies and respond to any questions on orders placed with manufacturers

+ Maintain order files

+ Maintain and resolve open purchase orders

+ Maintain and resolve open order lines

+ Assist AP with resolution of any vendor invoice discrepancies

+ Receive and handle order inquiry calls from Customer Care and Sales relative to order status, schedules, or general questions

+ Research and resolve customer order issues

+ Run order management reports to help maintain order status and ensure timely billing of orders

**What you bring to the table:**

+ Provides comprehensive furniture solutions for customers of all sizes

+ Ability to work with customers to understand their business objectives and then create furniture solutions that support those objectives.

**Qualifications :**

**Whats needed- Basic Qualifications:**

+ High school diploma or GED

+ 2 years experience in a customer service environment

+ Strong computer skills in word processing, spreadsheets, database, and network applications

+ Strong analytical skills

+ Must be capable to learn CFS

+ Must become familiar with CAD/CAP, GIZA to understand work coming from other departments

+ General knowledge of office furniture

+ Good time management and organizational skills

+ Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks

+ Good verbal and written communication skills

+ Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills

**Whats needed- Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Associates degree in Business Administration or related major or bachelors degree in Business

+ Previous furniture experience

+ Other related fields such as purchasing or order management experience.

Estimated salary for this position: $42K-$50K
