SUMMARY

 

With a focus on sourcing executive talent, this position is skilled in using creative search approaches to uncover hard-to-reach talent. This position will focus on proactively building talent pipelines while helping drive outcomes for reduced time to fill. As a scout for critical talent, this position will champion Rite Aid's brand and employer value proposition to generate interest and build relationships with top and future prospects. This position is a trusted guide with business partners and executive candidates alike. In this high-profile role, research, communication and influence skills to obtain talent is critical to build for the future.  Frequent independent judgments are essential. The incumbent is also required to perform all tasks in observance of Rite Aids brand and strategy and adhere to our core values and service attributes.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner across HR and the enterprise, with other Recruiters, HR Business Partners, Talent Management and executive hiring managers to develop deep knowledge of Rite Aids current and future talent needs. Work to create a strong pipeline of qualified candidates in anticipation of future requisitions.

  • Develop effective recruitment advertising and networking strategy including use of diverse job boards, direct recruiting, sites and forums, social media, professional associations, conference attendee lists, intern and campus recruiting programs, leveraging current employee contacts to sell Rite Aids employer brand. Attend internal, external and industry events to network, build relationships to identify referrals and diverse talent pools.

  • Consult with hiring managers to make selection decisions, extend offers of employment and overcome obstacles and objections to secure acceptances from top candidates.

  • Engage, screen and conduct initial assessment of prospective candidates.  Process background HR policy and procedures.
  • Stay abreast of market and employment trends affecting the recruitment function.  Communicate challenges and solutions that will result in recruitment improvements.
  • Work on other Human Resources projects and initiatives.

Experience / Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in senior level recruiting in an agency or corporate setting required.
  • Experience in the deployment and implementation of recruiting and talent sourcing strategies, and aligning resources to deliver on strategy

  • Strong executive presence; experience working closely with senior leadership. Strong relationship building skills.

  • Ability to prioritize and work in a face-paced, high change environment with a sense of urgency.

  • Experience working with an ATS.

  • Knowledge of recruiting sources and channels; Well-versed in social media recruiting methods, including LinkedIn Recruiter.

Education

  • Bachelors Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) Human Resources or related field required.
