The Director – Financial Systems is responsible for delivering business value to drive results, improve efficiency and optimize technology. The Director will be responsible for driving the product roadmap for all Financial Systems/applications used within the Controllership Organization (i.e. SAP, IBM, Lucernex). The Director focuses on leading the strategic vision, building and leading a team of product owners an ensuring proper execution and alignment with key stakeholders including IT and the business. The director will drive collaboration and work with various stakeholders across the organization, to understand the business needs, engage in research and discovery efforts and create alignment around priorities and communicate to leadership. This position also provides support and resolution of technical business issues by having a tier 1 team that analyzes, defines and solves issues in their domain, providing analysis that helps to optimize processes by root causes.

Strong leadership and understanding of both, business and technology needs, is key for this position to be successful. A deep and practical understanding on how to set up an efficient team with product, support and business acumen is also very relevant.

Typically reports to Sr. Director or VP.

MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• 20% partners with functional and technical leaders within and outside FBS to identify and plan capabilities necessary to meet short and long-term business needs. Develops and executes strategic plans in support of key objectives in a timely manner.
• 25% direct work efforts of product teams to ensure products are aligned with company, stakeholder, and end-user priorities; remove roadblocks and ensure that execution can be done on timely manner.
• 25% is dedicated to build, run and deliver an efficient team for supporting resolution of issues across the different FBS towers by providing the right process for triage, resolution tools and root cause analysis that feeds back into the process and operations.
• 5% identifies goals, metrics & appropriate analytics to measure the performance of product and support teams.
• 20% Attracts, retains, develops and motivates talent; provides leadership, mentoring and coaching to direct reports; conducts annual and mid-year reviews, reviewing individual development plans and providing performance feedback.
• 5% engages and participate in FBS leadership meetings and activities.

  Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
