Job Description

SUMMARY

The primary purpose of this position is to provide compensation analysis in support of base pay and bonus programs, as well as performing job analysis, documentation and evaluation. Frequent independent judgments are essential. The incumbent is also required to perform all tasks in observance of Rite Aids brand and strategy and adhere to our core values and service attributes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:

  •  Perform job analysis and evaluations for new or existing jobs to include writing and updating job descriptions, developing and maintaining a database for all positions with pay grade and pay scale information and creating and distributing reports
  •  Support administration of Executive Equity program, process daily exercises, closing statements, monthly reports, form filings and annual equity awards
  •  Contribute organizational data to, and analyze results of, compensation surveys. Participate in compensation salary surveys through job content analysis for matching survey jobs, documentation, data collection and survey submission
  •  Conduct market analysis of company jobs to determine competitive positioning of the organizations pay programs
  •  Participate in annual salary administration programs, including salary structure creation and maintenance and development of incentive or salary increase budgets
  •  Maintain the master pay scale library, distribution center, store and pharmacy master lists to support and advance compensation program development
  •  Assist in the analysis, development and audit of compensation programs
  •  Ensure compliance with FLSA rules and regulations. Process minimum wage increases
  • Participate in administration of annual performance management, incentive, or salary increase programs. Conduct analysis in support of corporate and distribution centers base pay and/or bonus programs, including creation of worksheets for single date adjustment and bonus check approvals, calculations of adjustments/payments
  • Participate in special Total Rewards and/or HR projects in support of business objectives

Experience / Requirements

  • Professional HR and Finance or HRIS program required
  • Or equivalent education in lieu of experience

Education

  • Bachelors Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in Human Resources or related field required
