Staples, you will execute and administer all elements of Staples US Retails
Health, Welfare and Retirement programs for over 25,000 US based
associates. The Analyst will be
responsible for the execution of various aspects of benefits administration and
manage the retirement benefits such as the active 401K plan, executive SERP
plans and frozen executive benefit plans.

**Health & Wellness Benefits:**

+ Investigate,analyze & resolve associates claims issues surrounding ourmedical/dental/vision plans, flexible spending accounts, part-time benefits,voluntary benefits, and COBRA

+ Collect,review for accuracy, and submit payment for all benefits department invoices

+ ReconcileHSA bank accounts

+ Completeanalytical reviews such as dependent daycare discrimination testing and payrollreporting analysis

+ Completecompliance filings as required; such as 5500s, PCORI and other state mandatedfiling

**Retirement Benefits:**

+ Analyticaland administrative facilitation of all 5500 filings, multiple audits and QA,annual non-discrimination testing, communications and design, qualificationdetermination, calculating company match and eligibility.

+ Set up,produce and manage daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly audits to ensure dataintegrity is 100% accurate.

+ Maintainall organization of plan documents, restatements and amendments as well as editand design.

+ Serving asUS Retail HRs singular retirement benefit SME to all associates.


+ Partnerwith LOA, HR Systems, Compensation, HRBP and HR Services teams to enhanceassociate experience.

+ Communicatewith Health & Wellness plan vendors to help resolve escalated eligibility,enrollment, and claims issues

+ Directrelationship with

+ Current401k recordkeeper, past record keepers, investment consultants, third-partyadministrators and additional clients.

+ H&W Plan vendors to help resolve escalated eligibility, enrollment, and claimsissues and ensure continued high levels of customer service by each vendor andidentify trends that require intervention by the Benefits COE team

**Essential skills and experience:**

+ Bachelors Degree + 1 years ofexperience in a tactical Human Resources function, with specific benefits experienceand knowledge of ERISA, COBRA, HIPPA and FSA (OR) High School Diploma + 3 yearsof experience within HR Benefits

+ Strong customer service skills, withthe ability to meet or exceed published service level standards

+ Excellent communication skills; bothwritten and verbal

+ Solid analytical skills withreporting and system acumen

**Preferred skills and experience:**

+ Advanced technical experience withMicrosoft Office Suite applications Excel (with proven aptitude working withVlookup functions, pivot tables, formulas, and specific formatting), Word,Access, and PowerPoint

+ Experience with PeopleSoft, ServiceNow software applications
