**Job Summary**

The role is focused on project delivery and technical excellence within AECOM’s Transport Advisory business, with a focus on traffic engineering and operational traffic modelling (intersection modelling and microsimulation modelling).

This is a specialist technical role in the field of traffic / transport engineering, transport planning and traffic modelling and advisory services. The role entails experience in traffic engineering, survey design, data analysis, problem solving, use of operational transport modelling packages and potentially road safety and traffic signal design.

Experience in microsimulation and/ or corridor traffic/ transport modelling packages for the simulation, analysis and assessment of major urban infrastructure projects and/ or a high degree of aptitude in traffic engineering (design, safety etc) is a pre-requisite.

This position will be leading small teams of engineers/ modellers/ planners to assist them to develop technical solutions to clients’ problems through high quality project delivery.

**Minimum Requirements**

+ Undergraduate degree in related discipline is essential; Postgraduate qualifications are desirable as are other relevant professional training courses​

+ Good technical skills, knowledge and experience in transport planning and transport/ traffic modelling and traffic engineering

+ Understanding of theory of engineering principles regarding design and road safety and its application in a range of scenarios analyse real world problems Minimum of 9 years’ experience in a similar role

+ Experience in working in successful project teams

+ Consulting experience
