**Job Summary**

AECOM has an exciting opportunity for an experienced

**Aircraft Mechanic II Sheet Metal** for a position in Ft. Campbell, KY.

* Remove and install aircraft subsystem assemblies and components such as engines, rotors, transmissions, mechanical flight controls and their components. Perform sheet metal tasks of various degrees of difficulty up to and including depot level.

* Service and lubricate aircraft and subsystems

* Safely prepare aircraft for inspections and maintenance checks and services

* Perform scheduled inspections and assists in performing special inspections

* Perform limited maintenance operational checks and diagnoses and troubleshoots aircraft systems using special tools and test equipment as required

* Use and perform operator maintenance on tools, special tools and aircraft ground support equipment

* Applies comprehensive technical expertise to solve moderate to complex problems by interpreting technical documentation such as aircraft Technical Manuals, Maintenance Information and Action Messages and all technical guidance provided through government official representatives

* Ability to select and use proper PPE

* Must provide personal tools per minimum tool listing

**Minimum Requirements**

* Must have a thorough knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting, repair procedures and replacement of parts

* Must have basic knowledge of electrical theory and a thorough knowledge of aircraft unique tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, sheet metal brakes and sheers

* Must have a working knowledge of technical publications and the Army's Aviation Logistics Information System, ULLS-AE

* Must be able to prioritize workloads and is required to lead teams through more complex aircraft relevant tasks

* Ability to make proper sheet metal and fastener selections for use in sheet metal repair and Modification.

**Preferred Qualifications**

* Prefer candidates with previous MWO experience

* Experience with rotary wing aircraft (All Army MDS preferred)
