**Job Posting Title** : Inside Account Manager - SLED

The Consortium Account Manager (CAM) is responsible for building relationships with new and existing customers within the following vertical markets: Healthcare, Education, Public Sector, Retail, Hospitality and any customer housed under a Group Purchasing Organization. The CAMs specifically target the individuals responsible for purchasing, utilizing key selling tools to grow and retain a book of business. The CAMs leverage these relationships to grow sales profitably through increased compliance to existing Staples programs, driving improved operational efficiency and through the introduction of new categories.

**What you'll be doing:**

Perform all Inside Account Management duties including, but not limited to:

Contacting their assigned customer locations via phone and internet on a regular basis in order to continue to provide convenience of procurement through Staples

Customer contact via phone and internet on a regular basis

Driving incremental sales growth

Improving compliance by single sourcing through Staples

Introducing new products

Train and educate customers on program offerings and best practices that reduce the cost of delivering office products

Maintain accurate and up-to-date logs summarizing all customer contacts in Saleforce.com.

Effectively communicate value in addition to features and benefits.

Work effectively in conjunction with all Staples functional groups including Customer Setup, Ecommerce, Customer Service, Fulfillment, Delivery, Operations and the multiple Lines of Business to properly coordinate Healthcare sales activities with operational best practices and Staples selling objectives.

Be able to successfully engage in balancing multiple tasks through the use of good time management, sales process management, prioritization and organizational skills.

**Qualifications :**

**Whats needed- Basic Qualifications:**

Minimum of 1 year experience in a sales, customer service or a sales support position

**Whats needed- Preferred Qualifications:**

Computer proficient in PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook

Self starter and goal oriented

Strong time management skills

Effective communication skills

Relationship building skills

Ability to sell company values and services, in addition to program features and benefits via phone and internet

Adaptable to a fast-pace organization

Ability to sell multiple buyer levels within small to mid-sized customers
