**Job Summary**

AECOM has a great opportunity for a **Warehouse Specialist** supporting our program in Springfield, VA. The selected candidate will verify material against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages, routing materials to prescribed storage locations; storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods and standard operating procedures; processes shipping and receiving requests utilizing various computers/databases to select, locate, and track material/equipment in preparation for internal or external distribution. Under limited supervision coordinates and expedites flow of material, parts, compile reports of quantity and type of material on hand, move or transport material using hand or industrial truck. Additional duties include distributing various computer printing paper and retrieving classified and unclassified toters from Service Hubs located throughout the work facility; operates docks, warehouses, or other, in accordance with established procedures; process inbound material and/or equipment from the initial point of delivery into a controlled storage area, or directly to the end user utilizing established logistics tools, processes, and documentation; inspect deliveries for misdirected shipments and obvious shipping damage; obtain carriers signature on waybill documenting shipping damage, if any; determine appropriate routing upon acceptance; Inspect and receive items into a warehouse or other controlled storage area following established procedure and utilizing appropriate logistics tools and systems; maintain a clean, orderly, and safe workplace and limit access to controlled storage areas to authorized personnel only; issue stock from controlled storage areas for consumption or shipment, which may include applying appropriate packaging to safeguard the item from damage during transit; perform their duties utilizing proper authorizing documents, established schedules, or appropriate work orders. Warehouse Specialists receives or issues items based upon manual or system generated documents, schedules, reports, or verbal requests from supervision or the Program Manager, per established standard operating procedures; receive; inspect; assign locations; stock; issue; conduct and report physical inventories; re-locate stock to make room for new items; package items for shipment or protection; process discrepant, surplus, or scrap items per established procedure; deliver to or from storage areas; perform logistics tasks related to work orders, including furniture rearrangement and moving exercises; and operate all types of material handling equipment.

**Minimum Requirements**

+ High School diploma required.

+ 2 or more years of warehousing loading dock experience required.

+ Must be a U.S. Citizen.

+ Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance with polygraph examination.

+ Excellent verbal communication skills and professional business conduct.

+ Experience in demonstrating flexibility in satisfying customer demands in a high volume, fast paced production environment.

+ Must be able to utilize Microsoft Office products, email, electronic timecard, or other electronic data recording systems, as appropriate.

+ Must have and retain a valid State Driver’s License with no recent traffic violations.

+ Must have excellent phone manners and display professionalism at all times.

+ Must be physically able to perform lifting of objects up to 50 pounds per package and maneuver up to 75 pounds; and build pallets or boxes for storage or shipping purposes.

+ Must be able to withstand rigorous physical demands including, bending, squatting, lifting and standing for long periods of time.

+ Must obey all facility safety and traffic regulations.

+ Must be able to operate electric and manual pallet jacks.

+ Must be highly organized and be able to manage multiple tasks at one time.

+ Must have the ability to provide written communication clearly and concisely.

+ Must be a self-starter, able to effectively function with minimal supervision and time constrained tasks with the highest degree of confidentiality.

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Active, fully adjudicated TS/SCI w/poly is preferred.
