The Senior Analyst, Digital Content Strategy serves as program manager and team leader for a large segment of products on HomeDepot.com. The candidate is responsible for gaining a deep understanding of customer preferences and interaction with content elements on HD.com, and transforming this knowledge into actionable strategies across the program. The candidate also creates and implements processes that optimize the efficiency of digital content and/or promotional events. Works with Home Depot internal customers to coordinate requirements and processes for ensuring that digital content is completely and accurately reflected on HD.com. Drives the team to create, execute and impact promotional programs in homedepot.com to support a Multi-Channel business environment. Accountable for accurate and complete data capture, data integrity, and maintenance across HD.com and its product database. Must also monitor transformation of data and work with appropriate technology teams to resolve issues relating to incorrect mapping, business rules, and data deviations.


  • 30% Manage relationship between Merchants and the website www.homedepot.com as it pertains to product introduction, maintenance, or enhancments. 
  • 30% Develop process to drive product information as it is shown online. Participate in project teams to provide input regarding product data changes needed as a result of website or other business changes. Research data issues and errors and partner with IT and business partners to resolve.
  • 10% Partner with internal and external organizations to identify training needs; be prepared to deliver training when/if needed. 
  • 10% Facilitate new program development as new programs and services are identied by Merchants. 
  • 10% Attend Merchant meetings and identify and facilitate digital content requests as a result of thereof. 
  • 10% Coordinate and ensure appropriate reporting is in place and identify any performance issues.
Reports to Manager, Digital Content
No associates report to this role on a permanent basis, but requires the leadership of a work group: assign and review work, train and contribute to performance appraisal (but not hiring, firing or disciplinary action).



Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.


Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Education Required:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

2 years

Physical Requirements:

Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills; proven ability to communicate with technology and business partners. 
  • Experience with data analysis, strategy development and operational program development.
    Experience with systems management, A/B testing, Site Catalyst, UX development, user testing, product optimization, SEO optimization and statistical analysis are desired.
  • Strong organizational, analytical and customer service skills.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:
Understanding of Home Depot Merchandising assortment and associated product classifications
Strong knowledge of internal Home Depot store product system(s) including base tables
