**Job Summary**

AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Senior Analyst, Payroll for immediate employment in the Glen Allen, VA office.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

+ Ensure compliance with applicable AECOM policies and procedures, and state, local and federal laws and regulations.

+ Communicate and partner with the Accounting, HR, Finance and Legal teams, ensuring accuracy of employee records, accuracy of employee pay and payroll data reconciliations

+ Ensure payroll systems are set-up and updated to reflect current employee base, including wages, benefits, applicable deductions, sick and vacation time

+ Work with outside vendors and internal IT resources to provide complete, efficient, and accurate payroll services. This entails completing weekly/biweekly data loads and/or extracts

+ Perform all maintenance to ADP application including but not limited to setting up earnings and deduction codes, new pay companies, and assisting with upgrades

+ Create and execute necessary reporting in Oracle and ADP

+ Support department projects as needed including testing and implementation of system enhancements, upgrades, and mergers/acquisitions

+ Take lead role in quarter and year-end processing

+ Complete all data requests and audits (internal and external)

+ Ensure proper controls are in place and are operating effectively

+ Research and resolve complex inquiries. Seek solutions and follow through on resolution

+ Participate in efforts to evaluate, identify, and execute continuous system process improvements while moving towards common business goals, practices and policies

**Minimum Requirements**

+ Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience

+ 7+ years of demonstrated work experience in support of a large and diverse multi-state payroll department

+ Working experience of payroll tax at the federal, state and local levels

+ Strong technical skills including Microsoft office and reporting writing skills

+ Strong organizational and customer service skills

+ Strong written and oral communication skills

+ Ability to communicate with all levels of management

+ Strong analytical and problem solving skills

+ Self-starter, with the desire and ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

+ Effective time management skills with a proven ability to prioritize competing demands

+ Ability to effectively direct, collaborate with and work through others

+ Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality with all data and sensitive materials

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or Business

+ Certified Payroll Professional (CPP)

+ Experience in Oracle Time and Labor, ADP and Ceridian payroll systems preferred

+ Experience implementing new HCM systems, enhancements, and upgrades preferred
