**Job Summary**

AECOM is seeking an

**Alternate Site Manager** for an anticipated position supporting Installation Services effort in the country of United Arab Emirates (UAE). The incumbent will manage personal, recreation facilities, fitness programs, learning center testing facilities, all phases of Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) and lodging services. The candidate will develop and implement an equipment management information system, and establish an inspection, maintenance and repair capability for stored or leased fitness equipment. The work location for this position is on the Al Dhafra Air Base (ADAB) in United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Essential Responsibilities:

+ Assist in providing direction and leadership to assigned personnel.

+ Provides guidance and assistance relative to operating problems and projects.

+ Assist in supervising, coaching and leading work teams in the accomplishment of goals and tasks in support of specific programs.

+ Assist in interfacing with customers to determine specific needs and requirements.

+ Assist in corresponding with all functional area supervisors/leads regarding schedules, LN/OCN accountability, facility or equipment failures, serious injury, medical evacuation or emergency leave of any expatriate employee.

+ Understand and maintain company policies and procedures of the contractual requirements.

+ Assist in maintaining all the functional areas and responsibilities (e.g., leave issues; GO #1C issues, lodging or Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) support, Contractor personnel and management policies, off-base privileges, etc.)

+ Assures project purchase requisitions are completed properly and monitors the flow of each requisition to ensure delivery schedules are maintained.

+ Assist in coordinating the investigation and resolution of operational problems in conjunction with other personnel.

+ Assist in performing management level customer interface, including responsibility for contractual deliverables, development of responses to the Requests for Quotes and overall task execution.

+ Responsible, for ES&H duties including updating the ES&H and Waste Minimization Plans; conductingchemical/hazardous materials inventories; maintaining/posting OSHA 200 log; and preparing QuarterlySafety Statistics, Inspection Reports, and Checklists.

+ Act as the Site Manager assuming Site Management duties when the Site Manager is unavailable.

+ Performs all other position related duties as assigned or requested

**Minimum Requirements**

+ Must have a minimum of ten (10) years services management industry experience.

+ Excellent communication, analytical, project management and supervisory skills are necessary..

+ Desktop computer skills are essential with proficiency in full range of Microsoft Office products and should be capable of preparing management level reports and presentations.

+ Must have knowledge of Engineering and/or logistics, Construction, Services, Commodities and Government acquisitions.

+ Experience with Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) support, Contractor personnel and management policies is desired.

+ Direct management of a task order of a magnitude greater than $1M in an austere environment.

+ Position may require travel.

+ Must have OSHA Hazardous training certification.

+ Must possess and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.

+ Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be US Citizen.

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Air Force experience is preferred.

+ Must have Prior working experience in the Middle East.

+ Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.

+ May require travel.
